Having three yachts has to be a huge monthly expense. Maybe at his level of wealth, it does not matter if the market is up or down - usually the mega wealthy make just as much money either way. Pretty good deal! However, some of my friends are on a refit right now and they have to stay and work while the ship is in the yard. Depends on the vessel and its management.
